Price: what you get and whether it is worth it

The list price, the launch discount, and the two-minute decision checklist.

Short answer

Deep Dish Dungeon has a list price of $14.99 on Steam. At launch it was 15% off ($12.74). Sale prices change, so check the Steam page for the current price before you buy.

What you get for the price

  • Solo or online co-op with up to two friends (three players total).
  • A hand-crafted dungeon with cooking, crafting and metroidvania-style route unlocks.
  • Steam Deck Verified support.
  • Public reviews describe 15+ hours of content; that is a player estimate, not an official campaign length.

Is it worth it?

The Steam review summary was “Very Positive” at the time of checking, and public reviews repeatedly mention the cooking/crafting loop, the density of the dungeon and the co-op experience. The common criticisms are combat polish, enemy AI and launch-build bugs — several of which patch 1.0.47.0 addresses.

If you want a polished action game, this is not it. If you want a slow, systems-heavy dungeon crawler with friends and a strong food/crafting loop, the price is reasonable for the content described by players.

The $12.74 launch price was a 15% discount at the time of checking. Discounts end; the list price may be the only price available when you read this. Check Steam before buying.

How to decide in 2 minutes

  1. Try the demo if it is still available.
  2. Read the review page and the FAQ.
  3. Check the system requirements and Steam Deck support.
  4. If you plan to play co-op, read the co-op guide first.
